How is the general process of design to manufacturing like?
  1. We will start with a consultation appointment to understand your needs and answer any questions you may have.
  2. Gather all the information and organise a checklist of all the elements we need to start design development.
  3. Meetings will happen throughout this process to select designs and confirm technical specifications before heading to prototyping.
  4. At the sampling stage, reviewing fit and confirming construction details are of utmost importance.
  5. Once pre-production samples are confirmed, we are ready to execute the bulk order.
  6. Any branding needs should be communicated before manufacturing. Hang tags, brand labels, customised buttons and zips, and even printed polymailers.

What should I prepare before the first consultation?
If you have a budget, please share it with us so we can give you a framework of how it will work out for you.
Reference images, quick sketches, or moodboard of images that you put together for your brand will help us get to the vision quickly. Your desired colours, materials and hardware all contribute to our assessment of how we can meet your objectives.

What are your minimum order quantities?
The minimum order quantity (MOQ) averages at 100 pieces per design depending on the type of apparel. Knitwear is at 50 pieces per size, 100 pieces per style. Outerwear has a MOQ of 200 pieces. The unit cost of each garment will decrease as the order quantity increases. Bulk orders may deviate sometimes by +/- 10% which depends on final quality controls and material usage. This is because we don't want to give you products that aren't up to standard.

What is a tech pack?
A technical pack organises all the information needed to make your garment- it's like a blueprint, recording materials, measurements, construction details, and everything else to communicate to the production department exactly how the garment should be.

What are your lead times?
The conceptual design process usually runs 2-3 weeks. Samples generally take 1-3 weeks depending on the queue of the sample room and bulk orders generally take 4-8 weeks, depending on the calendar month, garment category, quantity, and complexity.

What kind of fabric can I choose?
We work with various fabric suppliers and have the ability to source most materials at your request or custom make your material from scratch. If you have swatches of the type of material you require, it's best to hand it over so that we have an accurate comparison as we source. We are not able to work with silk at this point of time.

Can I ensure my designs aren’t stolen or copied?
We do not share your tech packs with anyone except the manufacturers whom we have a trustworthy relationship with.

How does payment work?
Email us with your queries and we will share more!
Sample and shipping costs are separate from our consulting and design services, and bulk orders have to be paid in full before the start of production. Shipping costs of the bulk order will be calculated once production is completed and depends on the rate of external logistics companies.
