FROM SKETCH TO PRODUCT

This is a crucial part of the process and allows you to test the materials, the fit, the branding application and the functionality of your garment before placing a bulk order.

​Technical flats are created as an accurate render of the product and a detailed specification pack is needed for the next step of product development- prototyping. 

Each prototype will take approximately 1-3 weeks depending on the queue of the sample room. Complex designs and knitted pieces may take more time due to their technical requirements, accessory placements, and such.

A design usually goes through 2 rounds of sampling before the final confirmation before production. 

​PROTOTYPING PROCESS

Patterns are created based on the measurements of a technical pack and the fabric is cut accordingly and sewn as instructed in the sample room. 

At this point of the process, an accurate quote can be given with the cost of materials and complexity of sewing. ​

We work with our manufacturers closely to ensure smooth prototyping and to achieve their vision in their product while maintaining the design idea and quality as  much as possible. We take pride in our technical expertise gained from Italian construction techniques and industrial production knowledge.
